This is a hoof stand for shoeing lame horses. The trapezoidal box at the bottom provides protection from horses stepping down and injuring the farrier's foot. The knurled block on top allows for extra traction on the horse's hoof. Also available with the knurled top block rotated 45 degrees (see last picture) to shoe from the side, rather than behind the horse. Hoof stand cradle included, and attaches over the knurled top for extra comfort for the horse. Approximate dimensions 5.5"L x 6.75"W x 9.625"H
